Pistol Protection Plus LLC has several part-time, NRA Certified Instructors on staff to assist with larger classes if needed. Although we specialize in small classes 2-6 people, to ensure safe personal training. All our instructors are experienced in many different firearm disciplines, and are ready willing and able to assist our students in a polite and courteous manner.

We specialize in helping inexperienced shooters, who may never have touched a firearm before, to become comfortable and proficient and safe with handguns.

We start by discussing and you will memorize, the 3 NRA basic safety rules of gun handling, and then an in depth discussion, with hands on training, in the operation and use of a wide variety of pistols, both revolvers and semi-automatics.

Of course, absolutely no loaded guns will be handled in the classroom. Once our students are familiar and comfortable with the handguns, and know how to load and unload (using dummy rounds) how to clean and maintain them, we will move onto ammunition types and calibers. You will know the difference between rimfire and centerfire ammo, and how to choose the correct ammo for your gun.

Students will then learn the very important,
six fundamentals of pistol shooting, allowing you to properly control, aim, fire and put your shots on target.
With any handgun!

Finally, all students will go to our local range for the live fire portion of the course. Inexperienced or nervous new shooters will have the opportunity to start out with the very low recoil, low noise and very easy to shoot .22 caliber handguns. As they gain confidence, students will gradually move up to the more powerful handguns. Your instructor will be right by your side insuring you a safe and fun learning experience. We will provide you with the skills, knowledge and attitude, to enjoy a lifetime of family fun in the shooting sports, but also with the knowledge that you can take charge of your own, and your loved ones safety, should the unexpected happen.

I have given handgun, rifle and shotgun training to students as young as seven years old, and as old as 80, almost anyone, knowing the proper techniques, can learn to safely handle and shoot any caliber handgun.
