This Course provides the training required to obtain the Connecticut Concealed Carry Pistol Permit
As a bonus, your Connecticut Permit will also be valid in 13 other states. Call for details!
You will gain the knowledge, skills and attitude, to safely own, handle and shoot any handgun.
The course will include:
Introduction to pistol safety, parts and operation, loading and unloading
Introduction to ammunition
Fundamentals of pistol shooting, how to make every shot hit your target
Introduction to range safety rules and procedures
Live fire at our local range
Introduction to pistol cleaning, take down and reassembly
Safe storage of guns and ammunition, discuss different types of safes and cabinets available
See and try a wide selection of carry holsters, use accessories such as revolver and magazine speed loaders
How to choose a pistol that is right for you, whether for concealed carry or home defense or just fun plinking at the range
Transporting and / or traveling with firearms
Students will have the opportunity to handleandshoot a wide variety of handguns, both revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. You will learn about all action types, single action only, double action only and single action / double action. You will get to shoot a minimum of 10 different handguns, in the following calibers!

The course fee of just $105.00 includes all study material, all ammunition, range fees, and required range safety equipment, including eye and ear protection. Snacks and soft drinks are provided at no additional charge. All you need to bring is a willingness to learn. And bring your lunch if you'd like. we will break for lunch or we can order in. This 8 hour course can be completed in one day or over several evenings. Flexible schedules available. Men & women welcomed.
